Abstract

The percentage of the poor population in Indragiri Hilir Regency in March 2024 was 5.66 percent, an increase of 0.35 percent compared to March 2023.
The number of poor people in Indragiri Hilir Regency in March 2024 was 41,049 people, an increase of 189 people compared to March 2023.
In March 2024, the poverty line in Indragiri Hilir Regency was Rp629,570 per capita per month, whereas in March 2023, the poverty line was Rp597,122 per capita per month.
In March 2024, the Poverty Depth Index (P1) showed an increase of 0.16 points. P1 increased from 0.68 in March 2023 to 0.84 in March 2024. This indicates that the average expenditure gap of the poor population from the poverty line is widening.
The Poverty Severity Index (P2) showed an increase between the period of March 2023 and March 2024. The Poverty Severity Index in 2023 was 0.13, whereas in March 2024, it was 0.22.
