Abstract

In October 2024, there was a year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation in Tembilahan of 2.64 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) standing at 105,22.
The y-o-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by the rise in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage, and tobacco group by 3.89 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.73 percent; the household goods, equipment, and routine household maintenance group by 0.84 percent; the health group by 0.19 percent; the transportation group by 0.67 percent; the education group by 2.58 percent; the food and beverage service/restaurant group by 0.75 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 12.73 percent. Meanwhile, the indices of groups experiencing a decrease or deflation are as follows: the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.33 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 2.60 percent; and the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.06 percent;
The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Tembilahan for October 2024 was 0.74 percent and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 1.93 percent.
