Abstract

In November 2024, there was a year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation in Tembilahan of 2.32 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) standing at 105,49.
The y-o-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by the rise in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage, and tobacco group by 2.84 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.73 percent; the household goods, equipment, and routine household maintenance group by 1.17 percent; the health group by 0.19 percent; the transportation group by 0.73 percent; the education group by 2.58 percent; the food and beverage service/restaurant group by 0.94 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 12.97 percent. Meanwhile, the indices of groups experiencing a decrease or deflation are as follows: the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.55 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 2.70 percent; and the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.06 percent;
The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Tembilahan for November 2024 was 0.26 percent and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 2.19 percent.
