Reviewing Regsosek Data Insights and Village Statistics Coaching through Desa Cantik

Tuesday (31/10/2023), the Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) Team of BPS Indragiri Hilir Regency held a meeting in the framework of the follow-up of Desa Cantik 2023 activities. In the meeting chaired by Purwantono, SST., M.Si. and Adi Wijaya, S.ST, it was explained that Desa Cantik 2023 activities have two main objectives, namely village statistical guidance and stabilization of insight into the coverage of socio-economic registration data variables (regresosek) conducted in 2022. Village statistical coaching activities will produce two outputs that can be selected by the village from five output options including village profiles, village monographs, villages in numbers, statistical communities, and village information systems (websites). However, of the five options, the statistical community is an option that must be chosen by the village.

In addition to village statistical guidance, the stabilization of insight into the scope of the 2022 regsosek data variables was carried out in order to provide villages with an understanding of the importance of regsosek data in formulating development policies in the village. Purwantono, SST, M.Si. Adi Wijaya, S.ST said that regsosek data actually has a lot of benefits in organizing village development, such as for handling poverty, reducing school dropout rates, alleviating unemployment, and other matters related to community welfare. The Head of BPS Indragiri Hilir Regency Sudiro, SST., M.Si. who was also present at the meeting also gave direction so that the beautiful village team was serious in carrying out activities in the field. He hopes that this activity can strengthen village sectoral statistics in the future and provide knowledge about the utilization of regsosek data by villages.
