The year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation Tembilahan in January 2024 was 1.55 percent.

The y-o-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by the rise in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage, and tobacco group by 3.36 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.28 percent; the health group by 0.25 percent; the transportation group by 2.32 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.04 percent; the education group by 0.66 percent; the food and beverage service/restaurant group by 0.60 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 2.57 percent. Meanwhile, the indices of groups experiencing a decrease or deflation are as follows: the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.33 percent; the household goods, equipment, and routine household maintenance group by 0.85 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 3.04 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Tembilahan for January 2024 were 0.47 percent each.
