The year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation Tembilahan in April 2024 was 3.28 percent

• In April 2024, there was a year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation in Tembilahan of 3.28 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) standing at 105,77.

• The y-o-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by the rise in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage, and tobacco group by 7.72 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.44 percent; the transportation group by 1.22 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.12 percent; the education group by 0.66 percent; the food and beverage service/restaurant group by 0.57 percent;  and the personal care and other services group by 5.78 percent. Meanwhile, the indices of groups experiencing a decrease or deflation are as follows: the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.30 percent; the household goods, equipment, and routine household maintenance group by 0.33 percent; the health group by 0.15 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 2.68 percent.

• The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Tembilahan for April 2024 was 0.47 percent  and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 2.46 percent each.
